[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Congratulations! You’ve reached the final project and exam.
The final has two parts. For the first part, you’ll complete a project—UI edits for Google Workspace (Gsuite). The second part is an exam with 50 questions. There is no time limit on the exam.
Before you jump in, let’s wrap up the course with this video from Erik Wong, a senior UX writer at Google.[/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/lfZCI-SOS2g”][vc_column_text]
Here’s our fictional scenario for the final project:
Imagine that Daniel the Designer has just sent you a Figma file with screens for an existing flow in Google Workspace. It’s a flow that allows a user to add a new email group for their team. Daniel looked at the screens and decided the design was ok, but they might need more info and guidance for users.
You’ll be working on these edits to get ready for a design review with the Head of User Experience and the VP of Product for Google Workspace. We want to improve all of the text for the review. Any other design changes to the flow or the layout will have to wait.
Keep in mind:
Here’s a training example of a Figma file with Basics outlined so you can explore a bit.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Here’s a doc with instructions for duplicating our Figma template file and creating your own.
Here’s the basic order of events to get your final submitted:
After we score your project and add feedback, we’ll notify you via email by sharing the scoresheet doc. You might see comments come through for your project while we’re reviewing. Hold off on resolving comments or making updates to your final project until we send your final score.
